Sexual abuse is any non-consensual sexual act or behavior using force, with significant concern in "men who have sex with men" (MSM), and younger individuals. The incidence of sexually transmitted infections (STI) is also prevalent in the cases of sexual abuse in this population, showing the need for comprehensive medical and psychological intervention. This study presents a case of a 15-year-old Indonesian MSM adolescent who experienced three forced sexual intercourse with a mid-thirties male friend 6 months before the consultation.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFRhinoplasty is one of the major surgical procedures most popular and it is generally performed modelling the internal bones and cartilage using a closed approach to reduce the damage of soft tissue, whose final shape is determined by means of their new settlement over the internal remodelled rigid structures. An optimal planning, achievable thanks to advanced acquisition of 3D images and thanks to the virtual simulation of the intervention via specific software. Anyway, the final result depends also on factors that cannot be totally predicted regarding the settlement of soft tissues on the rigid structures, and a final objective check would be useful to eventually perform some adjustments before to conclude the intervention.

The addition of leaves may increase nutrient profile, including essential amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals in edible products.
Aim: The study aimed to optimize the addition of leaves in bread, noodles, and pasta and evaluate sensory attributes using a nine-point hedonic scale and nutritional analysis.

Objective: To examine neuropsychological characteristic differences between typical and atypical language dominance in adult persons with epilepsy (PWE) and mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS), including exploring the impact of selected clinical variables on detection of atypical language and neuropsychological performance.
Methods: Adults with intractable epilepsy and MTS ( = 39) underwent comprehensive, pre-surgical evaluation including fMRI and neuropsychological assessment. Participants with concordant lateralization of MTS and seizure onset were included.

This study aimed to develop in vivo methods for assessing facial anti-glycation and anti-aging effects and to investigate the link between glycation and aging signs. We utilized an AGE reader to measure AGEs levels on the face and arms, establishing a correlation to validate the reader's use for facial AGEs detection. Then the product's 7-day anti-glycation effect was evaluated.
