Background: Non-secretory multiple myeloma (NSMM) is defined as clonal bone marrow plasma cells ≥10% or biopsy proven plasmacytoma, evidence of end-organ damage due to underlying plasma cell dyscrasia, namely hypercalcemia, renal insufficiency, anaemia, bone lesions and lack of serum and urinary monoclonal protein on electrophoresis and immunofixation. They represent 3-5% of multiple myeloma (MM). With the advent of serum free light chain (s FLC) measurement, most of NSMMs have been classified as Light chain Multiple myeloma (LCMM).

Hemolysis is the most common preanalytical interfering factor and a major source of error in clinical biochemistry analysis. Modern laboratories routinely assess hemolysis in conjunction with a laboratory information system algorithm that automatically adds a comment or rejects test values when appropriate. The hemolysis index has largely replaced visual inspection for assessing specimen quality prior to clinical chemistry testing.

Objective: This study evaluates the role of Ga-68 Pentixafor PET/CT in staging and follow-up of multiple myeloma (MM) and its correlation with clinical parameters.
Methods: Thirteen participants (9 males, 4 females; median age: 65 years) with MM were recruited in this prospective observational study. Six participants were included for staging evaluation, seven were included for follow-up evaluation, and underwent Ga-68 Pentixafor PET/CT.

Background And Aim: Seminal plasma proteins (SPPs) significantly influence sperm quality, playing a critical role in fertility. This study aims to investigate the molecular weight (MW) profiles of SPPs in horned and polled Bali bulls and their correlation with sperm quality parameters.
Materials And Methods: Semen samples were collected from six Bali bulls (3 horned, 3 polled).

Objective: This study investigated whether preβ1-HDL binds to triglyceride (TG)-rich lipoproteins (TGRLs) in the postprandial state and is released during lipolysis.
Methods: We measured preβ1-HDL concentrations, lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT) activity, and LCAT-dependent preβ1-HDL conversion before and after breakfast in patients with diabetes.
