Background: Isolated rapid-eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) is characterized by abnormal behaviors in REM sleep and is considered as a prodromal symptom of alpha-synucleinopathies. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rsfMRI) studies have unveiled altered functional connectivity (rsFC) in patients with iRBD. However, the associations between intra- and inter-network rsFC with clinical symptoms and neuropsychological functioning in iRBD remain unclear.

Circadian rhythms, intrinsic 24-h cycles that drive rhythmic changes in behavior and physiology, are important for normal physiology and health. Previous work in adults has identified sex differences in circadian rhythms of melatonin, temperature, and the intrinsic period of the human circadian timing system. However, less is known about sex differences in circadian rhythms at other developmental stages.

Objective: Common examinations for diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) are polysomnography (PSG) and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT). However, both PSG and HSAT require that sensors be attached to a subject, which may disturb their sleep and affect the results. Hence, in this study, we aimed to verify a wireless radar framework combined with deep learning techniques to screen for the risk of OSA in home-based environments.

Background: Simple and affordable methods for evaluating Insulin Resistance (IR) have been suggested, such as the Triglyceride-Glucose (TyG) index and its variants, including the TyG-Body Mass Index (TyG-BMI), TyG-Waist Circumference (TyG-WC), and TyG-Waist-to-Height Ratio (TyG-WHtR). The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between these TyG-related indices, which measure IR, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
Methods: This study analyzed NHANES data from 2007-2008, 2015-2016, and 2017-2020.

There is increasing use of digital tools to monitor people with psychosis and schizophrenia remotely, but using this type of data is challenging. This systematic review aimed to summarise how studies processed and analysed data collected through digital devices. In total, 203 articles collecting passive data through smartphones or wearable devices, from participants with psychosis or schizophrenia were included in the review.
