Objective: Triple negative breast carcinoma (TNBC) is characterized by the absence of estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 receptor expression. Carbonic anhydrase IX (CA IX) is a tumor-associated cell surface glycoprotein that is involved in adaptation to hypoxia-induced acidosis and plays a role in cancer progression. The aim of this study was to investigate CA IX expression in TNBC and its relationship with treatment effect.

Abstract: HIFs are transcription factors responsible for sensing low oxygen levels and, in response, inducing the transcription of numerous genes.

Panic disorder is more frequent in women than in men. In women, vulnerability to panic is enhanced during the late luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. At this time secretion of progesterone and its neuroactive metabolite allopregnanolone (ALLO), which acts as a positive allosteric modulator of the actions of GABA at GABA receptors, decline sharply.

Many studies on the adaptability of Tibetan sheep to hypoxia have been reported, but little attention has been paid to the reproduction of Tibetan sheep living at an altitude of more than 4000 m. In this study, the ovaries of Alpine Merino sheep (AM) living in middle-high altitude areas (2500 m) and the ovaries of Gangba Tibetan sheep (GB) and Huoba Tibetan sheep (HB) living in ultra-high altitude areas (4400 m or more) were collected. Through morphological, transcriptomics and metabolomics, the effects of ultra-high altitude areas on Tibetan sheep ovarian development and the molecular mechanism of sheep's adaptability to ultra-high altitude environment were explored.
