Background: This study aimed to explore the role of perceived skills and support in satisfaction with vocational status to better address the vocational needs and recovery goals of individuals with serious mental illness (SMI). It focuses on three service types: individual placement and support (IPS), sheltered workshops, and vocational support centers.
Method: The study is a cross-sectional analysis of the nationwide Israeli PR-PROM project data.

Community-based participatory research provides communities with an avenue to actively collaborate with environmental researchers. The research aims to gain insight into critical problems of concern to community members while maintaining community autonomy over the research and its outcomes. This article describes the development and implementation of an environmental health communication tool designed to meet the needs of residents of Colfax, Louisiana, a rural community with limited technological access, which is engaging in advocacy with federal and state regulatory agencies to prohibit open burning and open detonation of military and Superfund wastes at a nearby thermal treatment site.

Chronic pruritus (≥ 6 weeks) is a frequent symptom in atopic diseases, with phenotypes ranging from non-lesional skin to inflammatory diseases like atopic dermatitis. Data on patients' needs and treatment goals depending on the skin phenotype and disease burden are limited. This study aimed to analyse the impact of distinct phenotypes of chronic atopic pruritus on disease burden and treatment goals.

It was developed to address clients' spiritual needs in the religious plural context of the Netherlands. Thus far, how the intervention impacted clients' spiritual well-being remained a black box.

The European Union Radiation, Education, Staffing & Training (EU-REST) study was a European Commission-funded, 24-month project that analysed workforce availability, education and training needs to ensure quality and safety aspects of medical applications involving ionising radiation in the EU and developed staffing and education/training guidelines for key professional groups involved in ensuring radiation safety and quality of medical radiation applications in the EU Member States. This article outlines the origin, development, goals and overall structure of the project. CRITICAL RELEVANCE STATEMENT: This article provides a concise overview of the EU-REST project, which analysed the workforce availability of health professionals involved in the use of ionising radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and the corresponding education and training in radiation protection.
