Background: The pattern of myocardial injury and dysfunction development during follow-up is unclear in patients with myocarditis. This study aims to explore the developmental pattern of myocardial injury and cardiac dysfunction during the follow-up of myocarditis by cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and differences in short-term follow-up CMR performance between patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-associated myocarditis (CAM) and non-COVID-19-associated myocarditis (NCAM).
Methods: Data of patients with clinically diagnosed myocarditis who underwent follow-up CMR were retrospectively collected.

Background: The bolus tracking technique has been used for decades, yet still faces the challenging task of determining the optimal scanning time for individuals. Our study aimed to assess the feasibility of a novel bolus tracking method with a personalized post-trigger delay (PTD) to optimize scanning time and achieve optimized enhancement and contrast homogeneity in aortic computed tomography angiography (CTA).
Methods: Participants undergoing aortic CTA with bolus tracking were prospectively assigned to two different groups: Group A with a fixed 6-second PTD and Group B with a personalized PTD.

Self-assembly of amphiphilic molecules can take place in extremely concentrated salt solutions, such as inorganic molten salt hydrates or hydrous melts. The intermolecular interactions governing the organization of amphiphilic molecules under such extreme conditions are not yet fully understood. In this study, we investigated the specific effects of ions on the self-assembly of the non-ionic surfactant CH(OCHCH)OH (CE) under extreme salt concentrations, using calcium nitrate tetrahydrate as a reference.

Background And Purpose: The central vein sign (CVS) is a diagnostic imaging biomarker for multiple sclerosis (MS). FLAIR* is a combined MRI contrast that provides high conspicuity for CVS at 3 Tesla (3T), enabling its sensitive and accurate detection in clinical settings. This study evaluated whether CVS conspicuity of 3T FLAIR* is reliable across imaging sites and MRI vendors and whether gadolinium (Gd) contrast increases CVS conspicuity.

Introduction: To assess and compare the knowledge of ChatGPT and Google Gemini in answering public-based and scientific questions about peripheral artery disease (PAD).
Methods: Frequently asked questions (FAQs) about PAD were generated by evaluating posts on social media, and the latest edition of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guideline was evaluated and recommendations about PAD were translated into questions. All questions were prepared in English and were asked to ChatGPT 4 and Google Gemini (formerly Google Bard) applications.
