Erectile dysfunction is a common sexual dysfunction that affects a significant proportion of men. Low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy has been evaluated in multiple clinical trials as a therapeutic option for men with erectile dysfunction. The robustness of these clinical trials is not well defined, as the trials are hindered by inconsistent treatment protocols, small study arm size and short follow-up intervals.

Introduction: We report our long experience in the surgical treatment of patients requesting penile lengthening by suspensory ligament release and placement of a custom-made soft silicone pubo-cavernous spacer. The aim was to show that with this surgical technique the results obtained are maintained over time. It is crucial to achieve postoperative satisfaction of these patients who show fragility and self-esteem problems.

The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way of living on the planet and, in my case, revealed the fragility of primary care services to respond to a health emergency that mainly affected older adults. Upon obtaining my medical degree, I felt guaranteed to have the skills to be a primary care physician; however, the coronavirus gave me "a reality bath with the aroma of impotence, bewilderment, and abandonment." Contradictory provisions and regulations, absence of a continuous policy, poor leadership, insufficient resources, and mismanagement by the Ministry of Health.

This paper discusses the low power of traditional care offers for so-called complex users in the health sector. It aims to show, from the narratives of two guiding-users, that professionals, services, and policies disregard the multiple singularities involved in the care and attempt to overlap their knowledge in asymmetrical relationships. They are often put at stake in their ability to generate interesting and more life-producing offers.

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) induces skin thickening and numerous symptoms involving the entire body. Collagen deposition, immune disorder, and vascular abnormalities is currently estimated to be three major causal factors involved in the respective conditions. Vascular abnormalities usually develop in the initial phase of this disease, and may exist in all phases; therefore, they markedly influence the patient's quality of life.
