To improve the peripheral circulation, to exert an antihypoxic action on muscle tissue, to stimulate oxidation processes, to relieve the physiological phase of myorelaxation, and to diminish the intensity of myotonic reactions, 34 patients with myotonia were treated by combined administration of benzohexonium and sodium hydroxybutyrate amplipulse-phoresis.
