Background: This study aims to explore the impact of the National Volume-based Procurement Policy in Guangdong Province on hospitalization costs for total knee arthroplasty inpatients.
Methods: Interrupted time-series analysis were used to examine the expenses associated with total knee arthroplasty for inpatients at a hospital in Guangzhou between May 10, 2021, and December 26, 2023. The period was divided into two phases based on the implementation of the policy, the pre-policy phase (May 10, 2021, to April 30, 2022) and the post-policy phase (May 1, 2022, to December 26, 2023).
Native animals worldwide are experiencing long-term coexistence with invasive plants, leading to diverse behavioral changes. However, this phenomenon is rarely reported.

Background: Luteolin, a natural flavonoid, exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and has been investigated for potential health benefits. Its focus on migraine management arises from its ability to mitigate neuroinflammation, a key factor in migraine attacks.
Methods: pkCSM and Swiss ADME were employed to assess luteolin's pharmacokinetic properties, revealing challenges such as low water solubility and limited skin permeability.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the adverse drug events (ADEs) associated with tolvaptan in the Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System database from the fourth quarter of 2009 to the second quarter of 2024.
Methods: After standardizing the data, various signal detection techniques, including Reporting Odds Ratio (ROR), Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR), Bayesian Confidence Propagation Neural Network, and Multi-Item Gamma Poisson Shrinker, were employed for analysis.
Results: Among the 7,486 ADE reports where tolvaptan was the primary suspected drug, a total of 196 preferred terms were identified, spanning 24 different system organ classes.

The State of Uttarakhand, located in the Himalayan region of North India, suffered one of the worst flash floods on June 16, 2013 where 5700 were presumed dead or missing. Since then, the region has suffered two other major flooding events in 2021 and 2023. Although numerous national government agencies recommend keeping disaster preparedness kits ready, the saliency and effectiveness of a household disaster preparedness kit in helping survivors, has not been empirically tested in the region.
