Total surgical correction of the tetralogy of Fallot remains a most challenging and difficult problem in cardiac surgery. The present study, like others, indicates that this lesion can be corrected, and excellent anatomical and haemodynamic results can be obtained with an acceptable mortality. Results following total surgical correction in 45 consecutive patients are presented. The operative mortality was 13%. The causes of death are analysed. Certain uncommon severe associated defects adversely influenced the outcome of the operation. The great majority of surviving patients are improved. Postoperative haemodynamic studies in eight patients revealed gratifying results.

Purpose Of Review: To summarize current evidence regarding the indication of adjuvant treatment after transoral laser microsurgery (TOLMS).
Recent Findings: Apart from well known risk factors, margins represent the key point in the decision-making. If margins are affected, additional treatment is mandatory.

Robot-assisted surgery represents a significant innovation in reconstructive microsurgery, providing enhanced precision and reduced surgeon fatigue. This study examines the integration of robotic assistance in a series of 85 consecutive robot-assisted microsurgical (RAMS) operations. It aims to evaluate changes in the integration of RAMS during the implementation phase in a single institution.

Introduction: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is one of the most common types of urogenital cancer. The introduction of immune-based combinations, including dual immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) or ICI plus tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), has radically changed the treatment landscape for metastatic RCC, showing varying efficacy across different prognostic groups based on the International Metastatic RCC Database Consortium (IMDC) criteria.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective multicenter study, part of the ARON-1 project, aimed to evaluate the outcomes of favorable-risk metastatic RCC patients treated with immune-based combinations or sunitinib.

Purpose: Thyroid nodules are common, and ultrasound-based risk stratification using ACR's TIRADS classification is a key step in predicting nodule pathology. Determining thyroid nodule contours is necessary for the calculation of TIRADS scores and can also be used in the development of machine learning nodule diagnosis systems. This paper presents the development, validation, and multi-institutional independent testing of a machine learning system for the automatic segmentation of thyroid nodules on ultrasound.

Background: Textbook outcome (TO) has been utilized to assess the quality of surgical care. This study aimed to define TO rates for minimally invasive gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) resections in a bi-institutional cohort.
Methods: Patients with gastric GIST (≤ 5 cm) who underwent laparoscopic or robotic resection (January 2014 to January 2024) were retrospectively identified from two GIST centers.
