The dielectric response of noninteracting dipoles is discussed in the framework of the classical model of stochastic reorientations in an asymmetric double-well potential (ADWP). In the nonlinear regime, this model exhibits some pecularities in the static response. We find that the saturation behavior of the symmetric double-well potential model does not follow the Langevin function and only in the linear regime are the standard results recovered.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder - Balance between Beauty Mania and Illness The body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) belongs to the somatoform disorders and is characterized by an excessive concern about a slight or not apparent defect in appearance. Typical areas of concern include the face, for example the skin texture or form and symmetry of a particular feature. Besides behavioral pecularities such as excessive checking of the defect in a mirror, the preoccupation causes clinically significant distress and impairment in social functioning.

Specific IgE antibodies to food mix, cow's milk, casein, egg, wheat, fish, nuts mixture and inhalant allergens were measured by using ImmunoCap (Phadia, Uppsala, Sweden).
