Postoperative adhesions represent a major medical challenge and are associated with serious health and economic consequences. 4DryField PH (PlantTec Medical GmbH, Lueneburg, Germany) is a starch-based medical device designed both to prevent adhesions and for hemostasis. This paper explores methods to successfully apply it in gynecological surgery, leveraging the authors' extensive clinical experience.

Background: In recent times, bioceramic calcium silicates have gained attention due to high success rates with pulpotomy in primary teeth.
Aims: To evaluate and compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes of three different bioceramic calcium silicate cements in vital deciduous teeth treated with pulpotomies over a period of 24 months.
Design: Children aged 4-9 years, with deep dentinal caries (ICDAS 4-6) in primary molars, having no history of spontaneous pain or signs of non-vitality were included in the study.

Objective: To assess physico-chemical properties of BioRoot RCS (powder-to-liquid formulation) and BioRoot Flow (pre-mixed formulation) after exposure to citric acid (CA) and EDTA.
Methods: BioRoot RCS and BioRoot Flow specimens (5 × 2 mm) were incubated for 28 days at 37 °C before being treated with test solution (distilled water, 17% EDTA, 10% CA, 20% CA or 40% CA). Changes in mass, ion release (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy), phase composition (X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy), surface morphology (scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy) were evaluated.

Adsorption equilibria of CO, CH, and their mixtures were measured on binderless pellets of NIST reference zeolite NaY (RM 8850) using a static gravimetric setup. The unary adsorption isotherms are reported at temperatures from 298 to 393 K up to a pressure of 3 MPa and compare favorably with independent results on RM 8850 powder. The competitive adsorption measurements were performed at temperatures from 298 to 353 K and up to 3 MPa for three premixed gas mixtures with CO molar feed compositions of 0.

In salt lake areas, the cast-in-situ concrete structure has been corroded by the combination of sulfate and chloride for a long time. The incorporation of basalt fiber materials into concrete helps to improve the durability of concrete. In this paper, experiments were conducted to study the corrosion deterioration mechanisms of basalt fiber-reinforced cast-in-situ concrete under sulfate, chloride, and combined attack.
