This study investigated denture care attitudes, dental visit habits, oral mucosal lesions, and hygiene levels in 118 complete denture users treated at a university dentistry faculty. Data on demographics, smoking, denture use duration, dentist visits, and hygiene habits were collected via a questionnaire. A specialist examined mucosal lesions and assessed denture hygiene level using the Budtz-Jorgensen and Bertram method.

We evaluated their association with cognitive decline in a diverse cohort of older adults who survived to age 80 without diagnosis of dementia.
Method: Three harmonized cohorts of long-term Kaiser Permanente members were pooled and restricted to those aged 80+.

Objective: We investigated the relationship between lymphocyte-to-C-reactive protein ratio (LCR) and common imaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD).
Methods: Data from 835 CSVD patients were analyzed using univariate and multivariate logistic regression to determine CSVD-associated factors. Multivariate models assessed the association between LCR and CSVD, including common imaging markers.
