In bioneuronal systems, the synergistic interaction between mechanosensitive piezo channels and neuronal synapses can convert and transmit pressure signals into complex temporal plastic pulses with excitatory and inhibitory features. However, existing artificial tactile neuromorphic systems struggle to replicate the elaborate temporal plasticity observed between excitatory and inhibitory features in biological systems, which is critical for the biomimetic processing and memorizing of tactile information. Here we demonstrate a mechano-gated iontronic piezomemristor with programmable temporal-tactile plasticity.

A total of 7 patients with type 1 infratentorial superficial siderosis(iSS-1)in Memory Clinic at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University from March 2019 to March 2023 were respectively collected to analyze the clinical characteristics and treatment, and followed up for 12 months. There were 7 patients, 2 males and 5 females, aged 56 (49-60) years. The 4 patients who underwent cognitive assessment had varying degree of cognitive impairment, with 2 patients exhibiting severe executive function impairment.

It is well established that sleep promotes health and welfare. Literature data suggests that sleep is a recurrent resting state that performs multiple biological functions, such as memory consolidation and regulation of glucose, lipid metabolism, energy metabolism, eating behavior, and blood pressure, besides, regulating the immune system. These immunological functions depend on regular sleep and circadian rhythms, as both impact the magnitude of immune responses.

Cognitive impairment refers to the impairment of higher brain functions such as perception, thinking or memory that affects the individual's ability to perform daily or social activities. Studies have found that changes in neuronal activity during tasks in patients with cognitive impairment are closely related to changes in cerebral cortical hemodynamics. Functional near-infrared spectroscopy is an indirect method to measure neural activity based on changes in blood oxygen concentration in the cerebral cortex.
