Background: This study aimed to evaluate the response to therapy and outcome with long-term daily mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) and high-dose alternate-day steroids (HADS) in children with dense deposit disease (DDD).
Methods: Children with DDD who received long-term MMF (1200 mg/m/day) and HADS (1.5-2 mg/kg AD) with slow tapering were retrospectively evaluated for their clinico-pathological presentation, response to therapy (complete, partial, no remission) and outcome (patient and renal survival).

Aims: To provide an updated comprehensive evaluation of the quality and evidence association of existing studies on health outcomes related to intermittent fasting (IF).
Materials And Methods: We conducted a systematic search of PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and Embase databases, covering literature up to June 2024. Meta-analyses and systematic reviews that include adult populations and quantitatively analyse health outcomes related to IF interventional studies are included.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a ubiquitous reproductive condition with triggering hallmarks such as glucose intolerance, hyperandrogenism, and dyslipidemia. Despite the existence of various PCOS animal models, an ideal model which could encompass all PCOS-specific phenotype is of dire need. Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) induced PCOS rats are frequently employed; though, determining the superior model among pubertal and prepubertal rats, incorporation of high fat diet (HFD), and their sustainability remains uncertain.

Neuropathic pain is the crucial dose-limiting side effect of paclitaxel in chemotherapy patients that negatively impacts the quality of life and survival. Currently, no effective treatment option is available. Aprepitant, a well-established chemotherapy antiemetic performing neurokinin-1 receptor antagonism, shows analgesic effects in some pain models.

Background: Intermittent fasting (IF) holds promise for enhancing metabolic health. However, the optimum IF forms and their superiority over continuous energy restriction (CER) remain unclear due to disconnected findings.
Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane databases for meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) investigating the association between IF and metabolic health outcomes.
