This case report presents a complex and challenging scenario of recurrent () bacteremia and tricuspid valve endocarditis in a 77-year-old male patient with multiple comorbidities and indwelling medical devices. The patient's medical history was significant for T4 paraplegia, neurogenic bladder requiring a chronic indwelling suprapubic catheter, heart block status post-permanent pacemaker placement, type 2 diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, and chronic sacral wounds. The case highlights the difficulties in managing antibiotic-resistant infections, particularly in patients with implantable devices and chronic wounds.

Cardiac tamponade is a rare but fatal complication of catheter ablation. We are reporting a case of a 73-year-old male with ventricular tachycardia (VT) storm undergoing urgent VT ablation, who was later found to have right ventricle (RV) perforation-an unusual site for catheter ablation complication. The patient underwent isochronal late activation mapping (ILAM)-based ablation and elimination of local abnormal ventricular activities (LAVA).

Objective: The objective of this study is to assess the predictive utility of perioperative P-wave parameters in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) undergoing catheter ablation, and to develop a predictive model using these parameters.
Methods: A total of 213 patients with PAF undergoing catheter ablation were retrospectively analyzed. P-wave parameters were measured within 3 days preoperatively and on the day postoperatively to determine their predictive significance for postoperative PAF recurrence.

: Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) poses a significant threat to the clinical outcomes and hospital stays of mechanically ventilated patients, particularly those recovering from cardiac arrest. Given the already elevated mortality rates in cardiac arrest cases, the addition of VAP further diminishes the chances of survival. Consequently, a paramount focus on VAP prevention becomes imperative.
