Cullin-5 (Cul5) coordinates assembly of cullin-RING-E3 ubiquitin (Ub) ligase (CRL) complexes that include Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling (SOCS)-box-containing proteins. The SOCS-box proteins function to recruit specific substrates to the complex for ubiquitination and degradation. In hematopoiesis, SOCS-box proteins are best known for regulating the actions of cytokines that utilize the JAK-STAT signaling pathway.

Background: Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women globally, with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) being particularly aggressive. Delphinidin (Dp), an anthocyanin monomer, has shown promising health benefits.
Objective: This study investigates the effects of Dp on TNBC and aims to elucidate its specific mechanisms of action.

This study was designed to explore the action mechanism of stimulator of interferon genes (STING) on the differentiation of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) in the tumor microenvironment of lung cancer. Bioinformatics analysis yielded a potential pathway for STING to regulate MDSC differentiation, the interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3)/NF-κB axis. The transfection efficiency of STING overexpression plasmid and small interfering RNA against IRF3 (siIRF3) was examined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR).

Ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T) is a pleiotropic genome instability syndrome resulting from the loss of the homeostatic protein kinase ATM. The complex phenotype of A-T includes progressive cerebellar degeneration, immunodeficiency, gonadal atrophy, interstitial lung disease, cancer predisposition, endocrine abnormalities, chromosomal instability, radiosensitivity, and segmental premature aging. Cultured skin fibroblasts from A-T patients exhibit premature senescence, highlighting the association between genome instability, cellular senescence, and aging.

Recent evidence indicates that PZA acts through disruption of coenzyme A synthesis under conditions that promote cellular stress. In contrast to its bactericidal action , PZA shows weak bacteriostatic activity against in axenic culture.
