Background: Multidomain lifestyle interventions for dementia risk reduction have been developed and trialled because reversible lifestyle factors have been shown to contribute to the onset and progression of dementia. A recent review and meta-analysis confirmed small beneficial effects of such interventions on cognitive performance. To enhance the effectiveness of these interventions, we have developed and incorporated personalisation approaches.

Non-functioning pituitary adenomas (NFPAs) are hormonally inactive benign tumors, usually diagnosed as macro-adenoma. The aim of our research was to analyze the clinical and hormonal characteristics of NFPAs using Knosp and revised Knosp classifications. Furthermore, we aimed to assess the possibility of predicting surgical remission after surgery.

Objective: To evaluate malnutrition and its association with outcomes in adult patients requiring venoarterial (VA) extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Methods: Patients cannulated for VA ECMO between January 1, 2020, and January 1, 2023, were screened. Patients on ECMO for <48 hours or without a nutritional evaluation were excluded.

Background: Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) may result in significant medical sequelae. Compared to youth with eating disorders like anorexia nervosa (AN), youth with ARFID tend to be younger and are more likely to be male. We aim to describe sex differences in clinical characteristics of youth hospitalized for medical complications of ARFID and compare their characteristics with youth hospitalized for anorexia nervosa.

Methods: Secondary data from 2,158 children aged 0-23 months in the 2022 Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey (TDHS) were analyzed.
