Realization of dendric signal processing in the human brain is of great significance for spatiotemporal neuromorphic engineering. Here, we proposed an ionic dendrite device with multichannel communication, which could realize synaptic behaviors even under an ultralow action potential of 80 mV. The device not only could simulate one-to-one information transfer of axons but also achieve a many-to-one modulation mode of dendrites.

Leonid Vasilyevich Sobolev is an outstanding pathologist, whose name definitely should occupy an honorable place in the galaxy of great scientists of Russia. However, his name was undeservedly forgotten, and the role of his work was underestimated. This Russian scientist made the most important discovery: he proved in an experiment that it is the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas that secrete a humoral regulator, "factor X", the deficiency of which leads to diabetes mellitus.

Memristors have gained significant attention recently due to their unique ability to exhibit functionalities for brain-inspired neuromorphic computing. Here, we demonstrate a high-performance multifunctional memristor using a thin film of liquid-phase exfoliated (LPE) 2D MoS pinched between two electrodes. Nanoscale inspection of a solution-processed MoS thin film using scanning electron and scanning probe microscopies revealed the high-quality and defect-free nature.
