Achieving axially chiral biaryl dialdehydes through asymmetric catalysis remains significantly challenging due to the lack of efficient strategies. In this report, we developed a rhodium-catalyzed enantioselective C-H amidation through chiral transient directing group strategy. With this new approach, a series of axially chiral amido dialdehydes were achieved in up to 86% yields with 99.

Electrochemical conversion of CO into methanol has received extensive attention in recent years since methanol is an efficient energy carrier and industrial feedstock. However, the selectivity to methanol remains unsatisfied. In this work, Sb-doped CsCuI is first and rationally developed for CO electrochemical reduction, achieving remarkable high selectivity of methanol.

In this present study, we developed and characterized a series of supramolecular G4 hydrogels by integrating -cyclodextrin (-CD) and boronic acid linkers into a supramolecular matrix to enhance antibacterial activity against (). We systematically investigated how varying the number of free boronic acid moieties (ranging from two to six), along with guanosine and β-CD content, influences both the structural integrity and antimicrobial efficacy of these materials. Comprehensive characterization using FTIR, circular dichroism, X-ray diffraction, SEM, AFM, and rheological measurements confirmed successful synthesis and revealed that higher boronic acid content correlated with a stronger, more organized network.

Efficient separation of photogenerated charge carriers is essential for maximizing the photocatalytic efficiency of semiconductor materials in oxygen evolution reactions (OER). This study presents a novel trimetallic photocatalyst, MIL-100(Fe)/TiO/CoO, synthesized through a facile microwave-assisted hydrothermal method followed by atomic layer deposition (ALD). The porous MIL-100(Fe) serves as a support for the sequential deposition of TiO and CoO layers ALD, which enhances electron-hole pair separation and minimizes their recombination.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a widely used class of synthetic chemicals that pose a significant global environmental and health threat due to their persistent and bioaccumulation toxicity caused by strong C-F bonds in their structures. PFAS usually exist in trace concentrations in environmental water bodies, which poses great challenges for environmental analysis. In this study, environmentally friendly cellulose was modified with polyaniline through in situ oxidative polymerization, and used as the filter paper for solid-phase extracting 23 PFAS in water.
