Purpose: This retrospective study aimed to characterize the clinical features, histopathological findings, and treatment outcomes of patients diagnosed with orbital inflammatory disease (OID) co-managed by the rheumatology and ophthalmology departments in a tertiary hospital.
Methods: Medical records of 14 patients with OID were analyzed. Data on demographics, clinical presentation, laboratory investigations, radiological imaging, histopathological results, treatment regimens, and disease outcomes were collected and reviewed.

Behçet's disease (BD) is a rare systemic vasculitis that is characterized by recurrent oral and genital ulcers, uveitis, and skin lesions. Although neurological involvement is a known complication, ischemic stroke remains uncommon. Herein, we report a 37-year-old Kuwaiti woman who experienced recurrent ischemic stroke with no traditional risk factors.

In this manuscript, I comment on the article by Pospisilova published in the recent issue of the journal, in which selective embolization was used to treat anorectal hemangioma, a rare disease causing lower gastrointestinal bleeding. Anorectal hemangioma can easily be mistaken; for example, the patient in this case was previously misdiagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Choosing the appropriate tests and understanding the typical manifestations of anorectal hemangioma under colonoscopy, computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and other tests are beneficial for diagnosis.

Background: Azathioprine (AZA) is part of the standard treatment for autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). The first step in the complex bioconversion of AZA to active metabolites is mediated by glutathione transferases (GSTs).
Aims: Elucidate the association between GSTM1 and GSTT1 copy number variation (CNV), genetic variation in GSTA2, GSTP1, and inosine-triphosphate-pyrophosphatase, and the response to AZA in AIH.
