Lung cancer is a highly prevalent and fatal cancer that seriously threatens the safety of people in various regions around the world. Difficulty in early diagnosis and strong drug resistance have always been difficulties in the treatment of lung cancer, so the prognosis of lung cancer has always been the focus of scientific researchers. This study used genotype-tissue expression (GTEx) and the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) databases to obtain 477 lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and 347 healthy individuals' samples as research subjects and divided LUAD patients into low-risk and high-risk groups based on prognostic risk scores.

Introduction: Up to 20% of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) develop acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), which is associated with increased odds of mortality. Guideline-based treatment for ARDS includes "lung protective" ventilation strategies, some of which are in opposition to "brain protective" strategies used for ventilation with patients with TBI. We conducted a scoping review of ventilation management strategies with clinical outcomes among patients with TBI and ARDS.

Objective: Muslim patients are an underrepresented community in end-of-life care research, with little evidence around factors that influence the quality and experience of care. The aim of this study was to explore the quality of end-of-life care in the intensive care unit (ICU) from the perspective of next-of-kin family members of Muslim patients.
Design: A qualitative multiple case study design using semistructured interviews with family members of Muslim patients.

Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anthracycline antitumor drug discovered in 1969, which can care for leukemia, breast cancer, lymphoma, and sarcoma. However, cardiotoxicity induced by DOX seriously limits its clinical value. The etiopathogenesis and therapeutic strategies are not unified.

Palliative care, a beacon of relief and comfort, ensures the best quality of life for patients nearing death, a patient population that often presents to emergency departments, by providing interventions to promote comfort and support final wishes. The purpose of this literature review was to examine the outcomes of palliative care interventions for adult patients with chronic illnesses who have died in emergency departments. The literature review was conducted in CINAHL, PubMed, SCOPUS, OVID, and APA Psych using the keywords "palliative," "emergency department," "adult," and "chronic disease.
