Background: Social media has become a new channel for information exchange in recent years. WeChat official account (WOA) is now widely adopted by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for successful information distribution and diffusion online. We aimed to identify features of the most popular articles pushed by WOAs of the China's CDC that are associated with article influence.

Orbital angular momentum (OAM), with its unique orthogonality, is widely applied in optical holographic encryption and information storage. Theoretically, the topological charge of OAM holography is infinite. However, in practice, it is restricted by the Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem and experimental equipment, resulting in a relatively small number of practically usable channels.

The technique of spectral polarization imaging (SPI) is a potent detection tool in various fields due to its ability to capture multi-dimensional information. However, existing SPI systems usually face challenges associated with architectural complexity and computational requirements, rendering them unsuitable for handheld, on-board, and real-time applications. Consequently, a compact single-shot multispectral polarization imager (CSMPI) is proposed, which employs a combined spectral-polarization encoding strategy to address the aforementioned issues.

Multi-channel multiplexing metasurfaces have attracted considerable interest with the growing demand for multifunctional integration and enhanced communication capabilities. Dynamic tuning of electromagnetic waves with multiple degrees of freedom is a key approach to improving information processing capabilities. Metasurfaces with chiral meta-atoms and Janus metasurfaces with asymmetric transmission properties introduce new degrees of freedom for multiplexing technologies.

In this paper, a demodulation method based on a temporal-convolutional feature fusion network (TCFFN) is proposed for the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) ultraviolet communication (UVC) system. The TCFFN extracts the temporal features and the local features of the signals, offering strong adaptability to inter-symbol interference (ISI) caused by channel scattering. By evaluating a single-user and dual-user UVC on-off keying non-orthogonal multiple access (OOK-NOMA) systems, the results demonstrate that the TCFFN demodulator supports the higher rate transmission of NLOS UVC system compared with the static threshold (ST) demodulator and the minimum mean square error (MMSE) equalizer.
