This study aimed to profile metabolites from five Trichoderma strains and assess their cytotoxic and pharmacological activities, particularly targeting oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). UHPLC-TOF-MS analysis revealed the presence of 25 compounds, including heptelidic acid, viridiol isomers, and sorbicillinol from the different Trichoderma extracts. Pharmacokinetic analysis showed moderate permeability and low interaction with P-glycoprotein, suggesting good drug absorption with minimal interference in cellular uptake.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the major phytochemical constituents of cannabis, , widely recognized for its therapeutic potential. While cannabis has been utilized for medicinal purposes since ancient times, its psychoactive and addictive properties led to its prohibition in 1937, with only the medical use being reauthorized in 1998. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD lacks psychoactive and addictive properties, yet the name that suggests its association with cannabis has significantly contributed to its public visibility.

To address the challenge of antibiotic-containing wastewater, a novel micromagnetic carrier-modified integrated fixed-film activated sludge system (MC-IFAS) was developed for treating tetracycline (TC)-containing swine wastewater in this study. The magnetic effects of the MC significantly enhanced TC removal by improving TC biosorption and biodegradation in both the suspended activated sludge and the carrier-attached biofilm in the MC-IFAS. The increased electrostatic attraction and number of binding sites in both the activated sludge and the biofilm enhanced their TC biosorption capacities, particularly in the activated sludge.

The antifungal targets of the new fungicide -(naphthalen-1-yl)-phenazine-1-carboxamide (NNPCN) are still incomplete, limiting its application. To identify potential new targets of NNPCN and facilitate target hunting, a suite of techniques was employed to conduct experiments on . Nine potential targets were identified, exhibiting strong binding affinity to NNPCN, as indicated by binding free energies below -100.
