The incidence of chronic keratoconjunctivitis, which potentially causes long-term loss of visual acuity due to corneal opacity, is considerably less common in children than in adults. It is therefore in danger of being overlooked. In children the appropriate treatment is therefore often introduced too late, or to an insufficient extent.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the features of hematological reactions in the inhabitants of the Arctic territory of the Kola Peninsula on a polar night and a polar day.
Methods: The study included determining the hemogram, neutrograms, monocytograms, lymphocytograms, and phagocytic activity neutrophil granulocytes, enzyme immunoassay, flow cytometry.
Results: It was established that during the polar night, there is an increase in the activity of migration of leukocytes from the marginal pool to the circulating pool, an increase in the intensity of phagocytosis by neutrophils, an increase in the concentrations of noradrenaline, cortisol, as well as an increase in hyperergic reactions involving immunoglobulin E and inhibitory processes due to an increase in interleukin-10.
Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by progressive limitation of airflow rate, hyperergic inflammatory response of the respiratory tract, and systemic manifestations. Prognosis of the disease depends on the severity of these pathogenetic components. FEV1 which characterizes the speed limit airflow do not allow predicting the rate of COPD progression.

The pathomorphological pattern of the central nervous system is shown to reflect the hyperergic nature of inflammation in TBE. The progressive development of the immediate hypersensitivity reactions initiated by the damaging action of the virus on brain tissue and the delayed hypersensitivity ones that provide the formation of local (tissue) immunity.

The authors studied the use of comprehensive individual tuberculin diagnosis (scarification skin test, intradermal titer) in the differential diagnosis of the nature of tuberculin sensitivity in children referred for examinations by physiological pediatricians for the diagnosis of a turn of tuberculin tests and the formation of registry group VIA. The use of this procedure was found to avoid the hyperdiagnosis of a turn of tuberculin tests in as high as 55.8%, to improve the diagnosis of hyperergic reactions to tuberculin, and to detect an occult false hyperergic reaction.
