Background: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic condition influenced by diet, which affects gut microbiota and immune functions. The rising prevalence of IBD, linked to Western diets in developing countries, highlights the need for dietary interventions. This study aimed to assess the impact of white kidney beans (WKB) on gut inflammation and microbiota changes, focusing on their effects on enteric glial cells (EGCs) and immune activity in colitis.

Designing single-template molecularly imprinted chiral sensors for the enantioselective recognition of various chiral amino acids (AAs) is of great importance for chiral analysis. Here, a dummy template-based chiral sensor is developed by using l-alanine (l-Ala) as the dummy template and poly(-phenylenediamine) as the imprinting layer, which can be used for the enantioselective recognition of various chiral AAs such as Ala, tryptophan (Trp), tyrosine (Tyr), cysteine (Cys), and arginine (Arg). Compared with conventional single-template molecularly imprinted chiral sensors, the designed single-template chiral sensor shows great universality for the recognition of chiral AAs since all chiral AAs possess an Ala-analogous segment.

Aim of the current study is to evaluate in patients with neuroendocrine tumor (NET): 1) T and K concentrations; 2) correlation with clinical outcome; 3) relationship between IDO activity and inflammatory cytokines.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed to investigate the IDO pathway in patients in follow-up for NET.
Background: Xueshuantong injection (Lyophilized) (XSTI) is widely used to treat cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. However, anaphylactoid reactions (ARs) are frequently reported as one of its side effects, and the mechanisms of ARs and their relationship with the different immune status are still not well understood.
Purpose: This article aims to examine the sensitizing effect of XSTI, explore the impact of normal and immunocompromised states on ARs, and analyze AR-related metabolic pathways by metabolomics.

Fluoroquinolone antibiotic enrofloxacin (ENR) is frequently detected in agricultural environments. The hormesis and detrimental effects of ENR on crops have been extensively observed. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying these crops' responses to ENR remain limited.
