Meanwhile, the vascular hypothesis suggests that vascular damage occurs in the early stages of the disease, leading to neurodegeneration and hindered waste clearance, which in turn triggers a series of events including the accumulation of amyloid plaques and Tau protein tangles. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), including long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), microRNAs (miRNAs), and circular RNAs (circRNAs), have been found to be involved in the regulation of AD.

This study investigated the relationship between eye movement parameters and cognitive function in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD). A total of 80 patients with AD (mild and moderate) and 34 normal controls (NC) participated. Neuropsychological assessments were conducted using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), while eye movements were recorded using eye-tracking technology.

Introduction: Residual dizziness (RD) is common in patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) after successful canalith repositioning procedures. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of vestibular rehabilitation (VR) on BPPV patients experiencing RD, and to explore the impact of VR on functional connectivity (FC), specifically focusing on the bilateral parietal operculum (OP) cortex.
Methods: Seventy patients with RD were randomly assigned to either a four-week VR group or a control group that received no treatment.
