Adolescence is characterized by heightened emotion dysregulation, impulsivity, and engagement in high-risk behaviors, such as substance use, violence, and unprotected sexual activity. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A) is an evidence-based intervention that targets emotion regulation and impulsivity among adolescents, proven effective at decreasing high-risk behaviors. However, limited research exists on adolescents' perceptions of DBT-A, particularly in schools.

: Individuals impacted by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are at greater risk of developing obesity, however, few studies have prospectively measured ACEs and obesity during childhood. Associations with the adoption of obesogenic behaviours during childhood, which directly contribute to obesity are also understudied.: To examine associations between individual and cumulative ACEs, obesity, and obesogenic behaviours during childhood.

With a rising incidence in an aging population, controversy surrounds surgical versus nonoperative treatments, particularly for displaced 3- and 4-part fractures in older patients. Locking plates (LP) and proximal intramedullary nails (PHN) are primary choices for surgical intervention, but both methods entail complications.

-β, β-β' trifused porphyrins incorporating two distinct active methylene groups (MN = malononitrile and IND = 1,3-indanedione) and their corresponding metal complexes with Cu(II) and Zn(II) have been synthesized with good to excellent yields and characterized by various spectroscopic techniques and spectrometric methods. Single crystal X-ray analysis of the Zn(II) complex ZnTFPMB(MN) (where TFP = trifused porphyrin and MB = mono benzo) revealed a nonplanar 'armchair' type conformation with a twist angle of 24.10°.

The intercalation of metal chlorides, and particularly iron chlorides, into graphitic carbon structures has recently received lots of attention, as it can not only protect this two-dimensional (2D) magnetic system from the effects of the environment but also substantially alter the magnetic, electronic, and optical properties of both the intercalant and host material. At the same time, intercalation can result in the formation of structural defects or defects can appear under external stimuli, which can affect materials performance. These aspects have received so far little attention in dedicated experiments.
