Study DesignA retrospective cohort utilizing the PearlDiver Patient Claims Database.ObjectiveCervical disc arthroplasty (CDA) is accepted treatment for cervical radiculopathy; however, it may also be safe and effective in myelopathy. Thus, we compared clinical characteristics and outcomes in patients undergoing CDA and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) for degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM) specifically.

Background: Chronic low back pain continues to be a challenge in everyday rehabilitation services as improvement keeps being unpredictable.
Aim: To evaluate the role of pain coping strategies, fear-avoidance beliefs, anxiety and depression in pain and disability in patients with chronic low back pain.
Population: Overall, 276 patients (200 women) with nonspecific low back pain according COST-B13 guidelines and lasting more than 6 months.
Importance: Inequitable access to transplant in the US is well recognized, yet the nature and extent of upstream disparities in care prior to transplant are unknown.
Objective: To understand patterns of referral for lung transplant by race, ethnicity, and neighborhood-level socioeconomic status.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This retrospective cohort study included adults aged 18 to 80 years with obstructive and restrictive lung disease from a single large-volume transplant center in Cleveland, Ohio, who were diagnosed between January 1, 2006, and May 11, 2023.

Aim: The tenet of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) as an adjunct to surgical periodontal therapy [open flap debridement (OFD)] on clinical parameters, gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels in GCF and wound healing.
Materials And Methods: Thirty subjects afflicted with chronic periodontitis showing evidence of horizontal bone loss on the radiograph, pocket probing depth (PPD) between 4 and 7 mm, and ≥20 natural teeth present in the oral cavity were included in the study. In every patient, OFD+LLLT was done in one quadrant and OFD in another was performed.
Importance: Optimal adjuvant treatment for patients with intermediate-risk cervical cancer remains controversial, and the benefit of adding chemotherapy to radiotherapy in this population is uncertain.
Objective: To evaluate whether adjuvant chemoradiotherapy is associated with improved overall survival compared with radiotherapy alone in patients with intermediate-risk cervical cancer. Secondary objectives included identifying clinical factors associated with the use of chemoradiotherapy.
