Background: There is limited data comparing arrhythmia burden amongst patients with congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (cc-TGA) undergoing anatomic repair (AR), physiologic repair (PR), and non-surgical management (NS).
Objective: To examine the difference in rate of brady- and tachyarrhythmias amongst patients with cc-TGA stratified by treatment pathway.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted including all patients with cc-TGA followed at Cleveland Clinic Children's (1995-2021).

Background: The aim of this study is to identify factors associated with the development of long-term severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) following mitral valve replacement (MVR).
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted involving 308 patients who underwent single-valve MVR at Xuzhou Central Hospital between April 2017 and December 2022. Preoperative color Doppler ultrasound indicated that all patients had either no or mild to moderate tricuspid regurgitation.

Background: Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) implantation is essential in treating cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disorders, especially in patients with heart failure. Although PPM has been proven to improve quality of life and prolong life expectancy in patients with cardiac conduction disorders, post implantation complications still often occur.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify types of complications and associated predictors in patients undergoing PPM implantation.

This state-of-the-art review examines disparities in the diagnosis, management, and outcomes of cardiac arrhythmias globally. These arrhythmias include atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachyarrhythmias underlying sudden cardiac death, and bradyarrhythmias associated with sinus node and atrioventricular node disease. Arrhythmias in low- and middle-income countries often result in higher mortality rates due to complex and poorly documented risk factors, lack of clinical expertise among health care personnel, lack of sufficient infrastructure, and challenges in access to care.

Background: The 'univentricular' heart encompasses a variety of congenital cardiac defects characterized by a single functional ventricle and an underdeveloped ventricular chamber. Surgical intervention, typically in infancy or childhood, aims to regulate pulmonary blood flow volume. In adulthood, untreated patients may experience limitations in physical activity and elevated morbidity due to persistent cyanosis and arrhythmias, notably after the Fontan procedure.
