Introduction: Elbow joint is the most common affliction in upper limb tuberculosis (TB). A review of literature shows varying clinical presentations of TB in the elbow, with and without detectable primary foci.
Case Report: We report a rare case of post-traumatic reactivation of latent TB of elbow which mimicked septic arthritis, in a healthy adult who suffered an elbow contusion injury following an road traffic accident.

Haemosiderotic synovitis (HS) is a rare synovial proliferative disease secondary to haemarthrosis, often with articular cartilage destruction. It is most frequently reported in patients with haemophiliacs, and the knee joint is most frequently affected. However, there are no reports on the elbow joint without haemophiliacs.

Acquired von Willebrand syndrome (AVWS) is a rare, non-hereditary bleeding disorder related to heterogeneous medical conditions such as hematological malignancies and cardiovascular and autoimmune diseases. We describe the clinical course of a 62-year-old man with polycythemia vera who experienced post-traumatic knee and leg swelling due to hemarthrosis. He was treated at another center with low molecular weight heparin due to misdiagnosed deep vein thrombosis further exacerbating the ongoing bleeding.

Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the treatment results of Y radiation synovectomy for chronic exudative synovitis of knee joints.
Methods: The retrospective data consist of 394 consecutive knee radiation synovectomies performed using 6 mCi (222 MBq) of Y. The assessment included 3-point custom pain and joint mobility scale, evaluation of joint's circumference, binary joint's temperature evaluation, patellar ballottement test, indications for puncture and its volume in applicable cases.
