Background: Left bundle branch pacing (LBBP) provides stable pacing parameters and has been suggested as an alternative for right ventricular pacing and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
Objectives: The aim of the study was to assess the incidence and etiology of new-onset left ventricular dysfunction (NOLVD) following LBBP in patients with baseline normal left ventricular (LV) function and cardiomyopathy patients with normalized LV function.
Methods: Patients undergoing successful LBBP for symptomatic bradyarrhythmia or as an alternative to cardiac resynchronization therapy were included.

Mitral regurgitation (MR) results from retrograde blood flow from the left ventricle to the left atrium. Common etiologies of acute severe MR include papillary muscle rupture from myocardial infarction, leaflet perforation in infective endocarditis, chordal rupture (pop) in myxomatous valve disease, acute rheumatic fever with carditis, or functional MR due to cardiomyopathies, myocarditis or Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. Here, we present an unusual case of acute severe MR due to ruptured chordae tendineae likely secondary to degenerative valve disease.

Background: Acute myocarditis (AM) is an inflammatory heart disease that may occur as a consequence of autoimmune disorders. Although the correlation between myocarditis and hyperthyroidism has been reported in the literature, the association with hypothyroidism is less frequent.
Case Summary: We describe a characteristic case of lymphocytic acute myocarditis deteriorated into cardiogenic shock due to Hashimoto's thyroiditis treated with vasopressor and inotropic drugs in combination with corticosteroid.

Background: Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) causes Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), characterized by pulmonary infection ranging from asymptomatic forms to respiratory insufficiency and death. Evidence of cardiac involvement in COVID-19 is increasing, and systemic inflammation or direct heart damage by SARS-CoV-2 can prolong the corrected QT interval (QTc).
Methods: In this observational study, a total of 333 consecutive patients admitted to the Covid Center of Verona University Hospital from November 2020 to April 2021 were included.

This report describes two electrocardiograms (ECGs) showing unusual manifestations of left anterior hemiblock (LAH). One revealed different degrees of incomplete LAH and the other documented the occurrence of 2:1 LAH. Understanding different degrees of LAH helps to interpret the ECG with regard to intraventricular conduction disorders and other ECG abnormalities.
