A Distal Radius Fracture Is Not Simply a Distal Radius Fracture We report on a 57-year-old female patient with a distal extra-articular radius fracture. The family doctor's suspicion was an osteoporosis-associated fracture, and an interdisciplinary investigation was initiated. In addition to DXA measurement differential diagnoses for secondary osteoporosis were considered.

Objective: Genes and environment contribute to the multifactorial etiology of autoimmune diseases. Familial clusters of autoimmune diseases are often observed among first-degree relatives sharing the same genetic background and environmental exposure. Background And Aims: One of the objectives of the ESC-EORP EUROASPIRE V survey is to determine how well European guidelines on the management of dyslipidaemias are implemented in coronary patients.
Methods: Standardized methods were used by trained technicians to collect information on 7824 patients from 130 centers in 27 countries, from the medical records and at a visit at least 6 months after hospitalization for a coronary event. All lipid measurements were performed in one central laboratory.
