We investigate the ultrafast electron correlation effects during non-sequential double ionization (NSDI) of argon subjected to a combined femtosecond field composed of counter-rotating two-color circularly polarized (TCCP) pulse laser using a 3D classical ensemble model (CEM). Our simulation results reveal that manipulation of the carrier-envelope phase (CEP) of the external driving field modulates the dynamical behavior of the two electrons, resulting in a notable sensitivity of their momentum distribution to the relative phase of two components of the counter-rotating TCCP field. Through inversion analysis, we uncover the capability to direct electrons toward a single direction, thereby facilitating focused ion-electron collisions on the attosecond timescale.

: Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has been demonstrated as an adjustable device to generate various combinations of short-lived reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) and as a promising appliance for cancer therapy. This study investigated the effects of direct and indirect treatments of Argon-based CAP to cancer cells (A2058, A549, U2OS and BCC) and fibroblasts (NIH3T3 and L929) on cell viability. We also aimed to understand whether plasma-generated RONS were involved in this process using genetic evidence.

Rationale: Gastric antral vascular ectasia (GAVE) is a rare acquired lesion characterized by vascular dilation in the gastric antrum, frequently results in occult or overt gastrointestinal bleeding. Endoscopic intervention remains the cornerstone of therapy. Argon plasma coagulation was previously considered a first treatment option.

Purpose: To evaluate access site adverse events following ClotTriever-mediated large-bore mechanical thrombectomy via small upper extremity deep veins (<ā6-mm).
Materials And Methods: Twenty patients, including 24 upper extremity venous access sites, underwent ClotTriever-mediated large-bore thrombectomy of the upper extremity and thoracic central veins for symptomatic deep vein obstruction unresponsive to anticoagulation. Patients without follow-up venous duplex examinations (nā=ā3) were excluded.

In this work, within the framework of a self-consistent model of arc discharge, a simulation of plasma parameters in a mixture of argon and methane was carried out, taking into account the evaporation of the electrode material in the case of a refractory and non-refractory cathode. It is shown that in the case of a refractory tungsten cathode, almost the same methane conversion rate is observed, leading to similar values in the density of the main methane conversion products (C, C, H) at different values of the discharge current density. However, with an increase in the current density, the evaporation rate of copper atoms from the anode increases, and a jump in the - characteristic is observed, caused by a change in the plasma-forming ion.
