In shooting incident reconstructions, forensic examiners usually deal with scenes involving short-range trajectories, typically ≤30 m. In situations such as this, a linear trajectory reconstruction model is appropriate. However, a forensic expert can also be asked to estimate a shooter's position by reconstructing a long-range trajectory where the bullet's path becomes arced as a result of gravity and the greater time in flight.

Boasting superior flexibility in beam manipulation and a simpler framework than traditional phased arrays, terahertz metasurface-based phased arrays show great promise for 5G-A/6G communication networks. Compared with the reflective reconfigurable intelligent surface (reflective RIS), the transmissive RIS (TRIS) offers more feasibility for transceiver multiplexing systems to meet the growing demand for high-performance beam tracking in terahertz communication and radar systems. However, the terahertz TRIS encounters greater challenges in phase shift, beam efficiency, and complex circuitry.

The 100-m sprint is one of the track events, and the pace of the runner can be measured using a variety of tools, such as a hand stopwatch, timing gate, laser device, radar device, photocell timing, etc. The data measured is the mean travel time. Nonetheless, monitoring an individual sprinter's instantaneous speed tracking is essential for assisting staff trainers in developing an appropriate training schedule for the individual sprinter.

The eruption in Fagradalsfjall Volcano, located in Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland, from several centuries' dormant states, occurred for the first time on March 19, 2021. Observations of Fagradalsfjall Volcano were conducted in 2021, and the eruption period lasted for six months until 18 September 2021. Six days pair of interferograms were generated from ninety synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data.
