Background: A new paradigm of hybrid working exists, with most office workers sharing their work between the office and home office environment. Working from home increases time spent or prolonged sitting, which is associated with an increased risk of chronic disease. Interventions to reduce sitting time, specifically designed for both the office and home-office environments, are required to address this growing public health issue.

Background: European guidelines recommend initial monotherapy in PAH patients with cardiovascular (CV) comorbidities based on the limited of evidence for combination therapy in this growing population.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on incident PAH patients enrolled in the French Pulmonary Hypertension Registry between 2009 and 2020. Propensity score matching was used to investigate initial dual oral combination therapy oral monotherapy in patients with at least one CV comorbidity (, hypertension, obesity, diabetes and coronary artery disease).

Comorbid diabetes and chronic kidney disease create a complex disease state with multi-faceted impacts on bone health, primarily reduced bone mass and tissue quality. To reduce fracture risk in this growing population, interventions are needed that target both bone mass and quality. Romosozumab (Romo) is an FDA-approved sclerostin inhibitor that has been shown to increase bone mass and strength in a murine model of combined diabetes and CKD (DKD), while Raloxifene (RAL) is a mild anti-resorptive used to treat osteoporosis that has also been shown to increase bone mechanical properties by increasing bone bound water content.

Due to growing population ageing, loneliness and social isolation are relevant social issues. Many studies apply the main definitions of loneliness and social isolation offered by the literature without considering how individual representations, socio-cultural context and the culture of care may influence their perception.
