Amino acids are the basic bioelements of proteins, which are the most important macromolecules for the functions of humans and animals. Out of the 20 L-amino acids, ecumenically found in most of living organisms, L-lysine is one of the 9 amino acids which are essential for human and animal nutrition. L-lysine is useful as medicament, chemical agent, food material (food industry) and feed additive (animal food).

The meeting of Working Group on Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) was organized in Paris on February 5-6-7 1992. Reporting and Surveillance of AEFI in the European countries was advised to be introduced in each country as the part of monitoring system in this matter. Channels for reporting system of AEFI should be similar to channels for reporting system of communicable diseases or to system of events following drugs.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFWithin the framework of this symposium, it is not feasible to present an exhaustive description of the present state of knowledge regarding the sensitivity and resistance of bacterial species to macrolides, lincosamides and streptogramins (MLS). This paper is limited to a description of the evolution of different types of resistance in the light of decisive factors described in previous papers, in order to deduce, if at all possible, trends in future strategy in therapeutics. Only acquired resistance lends itself to epidemiological study, in contrast to natural resistance which is, by definition, characteristic of a species or a genus, and not liable to change.
