Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of 19 histopathologically proven cases of orbital and adnexal sarcoidosis over the past ten years. The data analyzed included demographic details, clinical and imaging features, and management outcomes.

Introduction: A reported penicillin allergy reduces the likelihood that the patient will receive first-line surgical antibiotic prophylaxis (SAP), which can increase the risk of developing a surgical site infection (SSI). This project aimed to increase the use of first-line SAP agents in orthopedic and pediatric surgery patients with a reported penicillin allergy.
Methods: The Institute for Healthcare Improvement quality improvement methodology was followed.

We present a case of a 42-year-old male with sarcoidosis manifesting as endobronchial mass-like lesions, a rare and atypical presentation of the disease. Sarcoidosis typically involves the respiratory system, but its occurrence as endobronchial polyps mimicking malignancy is uncommon. The diagnosis was confirmed through bronchoscopy and biopsy, revealing non-caseating granulomas.

Drug allergy encompasses a spectrum of immunologically-mediated hypersensitivity reactions (HSRs) with varying mechanisms and clinical presentations. This type of adverse drug reaction (ADR) not only affects patient quality of life, but may also lead to delayed treatment, unnecessary investigations, and increased morbidity and mortality. Given the spectrum of symptoms associated with the condition, diagnosis can be challenging.

Methods: A survey constructed by sarcoidosis patients and doctors was administered to US sarcoidosis patients. The survey queried patients concerning their demographics, disease state, disease impact on health and well-being, health care priorities and impressions of sarcoidosis care.
