This study presents the fabrication of highly conducting Au fabric electrodes using a layer-by-layer (LBL) approach and its application toward energy storage. Through the ligand-exchange mechanism, the alternating layers of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (TREN) and gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) encapsulated with tetraoctylammonium bromide (TOABr) ligands (Au-TOABr) were deposited onto the fabric to achieve a highly conducting Au fabric (0.12 Ω/□) at room temperature in just two LBL cycles.

Tissue selective ultrasonic debridement is a new method of debriding chronic wounds that prepares the wound for advanced tissue application. This article presents the case of an 89-year-old woman with a chronic nonhealing wound to her lateral distal leg. The wound had a significant amount of biofilm and fibrous slough.

This review presents an overview of the various bioactivities of quinoa polysaccharides, critically evaluates the methods used for their extraction and purification, describes their structural characteristics, and discusses their practical applications across multiple areas within the food industry, including food additives, meat products, health foods, and innovative food packaging.

Introduction: Veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (V-V ECMO) is increasingly used in the treatment of severe respiratory failure. Despite a significant increase in the worldwide use of extracorporeal lung assist devices recirculation remains a common complication and is associated with a reduced effectiveness of ECMO support and increased hemolysis. There are about 45 million people who are blind with global financial burden and annual global cost of productivity estimated to be USD411 billion according to World Health Organization report of 2024. The contributions of the people who are visually impaired to the gross domestic product (GDP) can be enhanced deploying technology.
