Ampullary composite gangliocytoma/neuroma and neuroendocrine tumor (CoGNET), previously called ampullary gangliocytic paragangliomas, is a rare entity, with only few reported cases in the literature. This is a multicentric retrospective cohort study of patients treated with endoscopy or surgery for ampullary CoGNET. A literature review of ampullary CoGNET was also performed.

Background: Fentanyl is increasingly pervasive in the unregulated drug supply and is a driver of drug overdose deaths in the United States. The aims of this study were to characterize and identify correlates of fentanyl preference among people who use drugs (PWUD) in Rhode Island (RI).
Methods: Using bivariate analysis, we examined associations between fentanyl preference and sociodemographic and psychosocial characteristics at baseline among participants enrolled in the RI Prescription Drug and Illicit Drug Study from August 2020-February 2023.

Background: International efforts have reduced the availability of methamphetamine precursors, but its distribution and use continue to rise. Methamphetamine use can lead to short- and long-term adverse effects, including addiction, physical and psychosocial health problems, socioeconomic troubles, incarceration, overdose, and death. Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM) have been shown to have an elevated prevalence of methamphetamine use.

Metastasis remains the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide and lung cancer, known for its highly metastatic progression, remains among the most lethal of malignancies. The heterogeneous genomic profile of lung cancer metastases is often unknown. Since different metastatic events can selectively spread to multiple organs, strongly suggests more studies are needed to understand and target these different pathways.
