Background: Portal venous system aneurysms (PVA) are increasingly diagnosed on cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging. However, the natural history of these aneurysms is poorly understood and reports are limited to small case series.
Methods: Terms relevant to PVA were searched in radiology reports (2010-2022) with PVA presence confirmed by manual review.

Background: Inferior vena cava agenesis (IVCA) is a rare vascular abnormality characterised by the absence of one or more segments of the inferior vena cava and represents an underestimated cause of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Given the very low prevalence of this condition and the lack of clinical trials, there is no consensus about the optimal anticoagulation strategy in IVCA-associated DVT.
Objectives: To investigate efficacy and safety of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) in IVCA-associated DVT.

Aneurysms are often associated with connective tissue disorders, but most occur sporadically and are nonsyndromic. Manifestations of these nonsyndromic arteriopathies across genders and age groups have not been discussed extensively in previous studies, especially in younger cohorts. We analyzed data from 84,496 patients in the Mayo Clinic Tapestry DNA Sequencing Study, excluding those with known vascular syndromes.
