We report a new case of postaxial acrofacial dysostosis (Miller) syndrome with expanded profile. The patient presented with unusual orofacial and digital anomalies along with mental retardation. This report emphasizes the recognized features of the syndrome as well as describes intraoral findings that could aid in the diagnosis and management of these patients.

Objective: The key feature of Treacher-Collin's syndrome is malar dysostosis. The article focused on malar reconstruction for Treacher-Collin's syndrome and compared the implant materials.
Methods: From 1994 to 2002, a total of 55 patients with Treacher-Collin's syndrome were treated with malar reconstruction.

Forty-three children, aged 23 months to 14 years, received 102 anaesthetics for insertion of bone-anchored hearing aids, each lasting approximately 30-60 min. Forty of the children had a recognised syndrome involving the head and neck, including Goldenhar's and Treacher Collin's syndrome. The incidence of congenital heart disease was 19%.

Treacher-Collin's (T-C) syndrome, a first-arch congenital defect, that often manifests with severe facial deformity. Though a rare condition, it offers challenges to an anesthesiologist especially during plastic surgical procedure. These challenges are: (1) difficulty in maintaining a patent airway and (2) difficulty in intubation during induction of general anesthesia.
