We report a young female patient diagnosed with an invasive ductal carcinoma at the site of a prior cosmetic nipple piercing. She had no significant familial, genetic, or other carcinogenic risk factors to account for her presentation. A review of the literature confirms that trauma can occasionally be associated with invasive breast cancer, but such a connection has not previously been related to nipple piercing procedures.

We came across a case of 45-year-old, sexually active man who sought medical attention for right foot injury caused by a road traffic accident. During a detailed clinical evaluation, he was discovered to have double frenulum in his penis.

The Global Technical Strategy for Malaria 2016-2030 targets eliminating malaria from at least 35 countries and reducing case incidence by 90% globally. The importation of parasites due to human mobilization poses a significant obstacle to achieve malaria elimination as it can undermine the effectiveness of local interventions. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of parasite importation is essential to support control efforts and advance progress toward elimination.

Background: The core values and principles of general practice (GP) and family medicine (FM) have been described by various international scientific societies, including the World Organization of National Colleges, Academies, and Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians (WONCA). These values and principles, such as continuity of care, a bio-psycho-social approach, and hermeneutic case understanding, are also integrated into FM training programs.
