Background: Hereditary gingival fibromatosis (HGF) is one of the categories of non-plaque-induced gingival diseases of genetic origin. Current studies show high genetic heterogeneity and suggest that not all forms of HGF are the same and that more than one biological mechanism may result in gingival growth. This report presents a case of syndromic HGF with generalized and complex clinical manifestations associated with other conditions such as body hypertrichosis and hearing deficit.

In recent years, a segmental approach to Class II correction has gained popularity among orthodontists. This concept is best represented by the Carrière Motion 3D™ Class II Appliance (CMA), which is an efficient and effective appliance for the treatment of Class II malocclusions. Although it is original and innovative, it also has some inherent flaws that can potentially interfere with its daily use.

Introduction The role of the condylar position in the correct functioning of the stomatognathic system has been the center of the study. Using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), this study looked at the three-dimensional (3D) position of the condylar bone in patients from Class I, Class II, Division 1, and Division 2. Materials and methods This cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted using 102 CBCT records, with 34 records allocated to each category of malocclusion classification, such as dentoskeletal Class I, skeletal Class II, and dental Class II, Division 1 and 2.
