Purpose: Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring is in most studies considered essential in avoiding secondary brain injury in patients with intracranial pathologies. Invasive monitoring of ICP is accurate but is unavailable in many clinical and prehospital settings. Non-invasive modalities have historically been difficult to implement clinically.

The disease affects the optic nerve and represents the principle reasons of irreversible vision loss, mostly asymptomatic and uncontrolled. Consequently, early and accurate diagnosis is critical to prevent or reduce its effect, however, conventional diagnostic techniques often fail to provide concrete results. In this regard, we present a new approach built on Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) and MobileNetV2 pretrained architecture for diagnosing glaucoma.

Few metrics exist to describe phenotypic diversity within ophthalmic imaging datasets, with researchers often using ethnicity as a surrogate marker for biological variability. We derived a continuous, measured metric, the retinal pigment score (RPS), that quantifies the degree of pigmentation from a colour fundus photograph of the eye. RPS was validated using two large epidemiological studies with demographic and genetic data (UK Biobank and EPIC-Norfolk Study) and reproduced in a Tanzanian, an Australian, and a Chinese dataset.

Purpose: To describe vascular anomalies and nonperfusion areas (NPAs) of stage 4 familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR) with radial retinal folds (RFs) and analyze their potential clinical significance.
Methods: Retinal detachment (RD) could exceed the RFs due to exudative, rhegmatogenous, or tractional factors, which we could call secondary RD. Fluorescein fundus angiography (FFA) and risk factors for progression to secondary RD of pediatric stage 4 FEVR patients with radial RFs were respectively explored.

Observations: A 71-year-old male presented with moderate vision loss in his left eye. His past medical and ocular history were unremarkable.
