Several chemoenzymatic pathways have been developed for the stereoselective production of the drug tamsulosin. The interest in the exclusive synthesis of its ()-enantiomer lies in the greater activity compared to that displayed by its ()-counterpart for the treatment of kidney stones and benign prostatic hyperplasia disease. Using different types of biocatalysts such as lipases, alcohol dehydrogenases and transaminases, three complementary strategies have been studied to introduce chirality into a key synthetic precursor.

In the energy range of 3-20 keV covered by the NuSTAR, the obtained limits reach the bottom edge of theoretical predictions of realistic models where sterile neutrinos are produced in the early Universe. Only a small region is left to explore, if the sterile neutrinos form the entire dark matter component.

To such an end, spatial light modulators allow programmable control over the phase, amplitude, and polarization of optical wavefronts. One of the major challenges is to precisely match the manipulated beam to the waveguide modes in the multimode fiber.

Nevertheless, the low-order aberration ratio is disrupted during the actual manufacturing of the telescope. To address this issue, we analyzed the impacts of wavefront errors and low-order aberration proportions on the TTL coupling noise, determined the design requirements, and designed a 400 mm-aperture space gravitational wave telescope optical system.

The laser spot centroid positioning method, which offers low computational complexity and strong adaptability to beam shape, is currently the core measurement method during the laser acquisition phase. However, due to various interference factors encountered in practical tests, this algorithm often falls short of meeting the extremely high requirements.
