The estimation of the composition of the vaginal smear of the cytological hormone diagnosis is given by a sampling method. The results show that the cells should be distributed in a more uniform way on the slide than it is the case within conventional smears.

Background: Fruit size is a crucial economic trait that impacts the quality of jujube (Ziziphus jujuba), however, research in this area remains limited. This study utilized two jujube cultivars with similar genetic backgrounds but differing fruit sizes to investigate the regulatory mechanisms affecting fruit size through cytological observations, transcriptome sequencing, and heterologous overexpression.
Results: The findings reveal that variations in mesocarp cell numbers during early fruit development significantly influence final fruit size.

Immature PIT1-lineage pituitary neuroendocrine tumors (PitNETs)/adenomas (Immature PIT1-lineage tumors) are a rare and underrecognized subtype of PitNETs that exhibits distinct cytologic atypia features and aggressive clinical potential. This study characterizes the clinical, radiological, histologic, and immunohistochemical features of 15 immature PIT1-lineage tumors identified from 1084 PitNETs patients over 5 years. Background: Transgender people assigned male at birth (TG-AMAB) have higher rates of anal human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and anal cancer compared with cisgender populations. In a cohort of TG-AMAB in Washington DC, we determined the prevalence and epidemiological factors associated with anal high-risk HPV (HR-HPV) infection and cytological abnormalities.
Methods: In an urban academic-community clinic, we recruited adults identifying as a gender different than their sex assigned at birth.
