Sodium-sulfur batteries have been provided as a highly attractive solution for large-scale energy storage, benefiting from their substantial storage capacity, the abundance of raw materials, and cost-effectiveness. Nevertheless, conventional sodium-sulfur batteries have been the subject of critique due to their high operating temperature and costly maintenance. In contrast, room-temperature sodium-sulfur batteries exhibit significant advantages in these regards.

Metabolic testing can provide phenotypical information that can be used to personalize treatment so that people remain in negative energy balance during weight loss and remain in energy balance during maintenance. Behavioral testing can assess the reinforcing value and change in the temporal window related to the personalized diet and exercise program to motivate people to maintain engagement in healthier eating and activity programs.

Past studies have investigated the variability in how people engage with their personal networks, yet less is known about how people perceive their energy allocation to different ties. Drawing on an online survey sample (N = 906), we tested whether subjective perceptions of energy allocation conform to so-called Dunbar's Number(s). In addition, we evaluated the predictive roles of Big Five personality traits and self-esteem while controlling for differences in network structure.
