Recently, a strategy involving the engineering of chemokine receptors on immune cells was developed to optimize adoptive cell therapy (ACT) for solid tumors. Given the variability in chemokine secretion among different tumor types, identifying and modulating the appropriate chemokine receptors is crucial. In this study, we utilized extensive RNA sequencing data from both tumor tissues from The Cancer Genome Atlas and normal tissues from Genotype-Tissue Expression to investigate the expression profiles of chemokines.

A 51-year-old woman with persistent proliferation of natural killer (NK) cells in her peripheral blood was diagnosed with NK-large granular lymphocytic leukemia (NK-LGLL). During follow-up, computed tomography revealed multiple infiltrative pulmonary lesions. A flow cytometric analysis of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid showed infiltration of NK cells, resulting in a diagnosis of pulmonary infiltration by NK-LGLL.

For trained individuals such as athletes and musicians, learning often plateaus after extensive training, known as the "ceiling effect." One bottleneck to overcome it is having no prior physical experience with the skill to be learned. Here, we challenge this issue by exposing expert pianists to fast and complex finger movements that cannot be performed voluntarily, using a hand exoskeleton robot that can move individual fingers quickly and independently.

Leading-edge serrations inspired by owls exhibit the capability to control airfoil-turbulence interaction noise, but the design principle of the serration shape is still an open issue. To this end, we designed five types of serration shapes with different combinations of curvature, namely, triangular, ogee, anti-ogee, feather-like, and anti-feather-like. These curves are applied to serrated modifications with different bluntness levels (sharp or blunt) and amplitudes (0.

Manganese dioxide (MnO) is a well-known pseudocapacitive material that has been extensively studied and highly regarded, especially in supercapacitors, due to its remarkable surface redox behavior, leading to a high specific capacitance. However, its full potential is impeded by inherent characteristics such as its low electrical conductivity, dense morphology, and hindered ionic diffusion, resulting in limited rate capability in supercapacitors. Addressing this issue often requires complicated strategies and procedures, such as designing sophisticated composite architectures.
