Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases (aaRSs) provide an essential functional link between an mRNA sequence and the protein it encodes. aaRS enzymes catalyze a two-step chemical reaction that acylates specific tRNAs with a cognate α-amino acid. In addition to their role in translation, acylated tRNAs contribute to non-ribosomal natural product biosynthesis and are implicated in multiple human diseases.

NK cells offer a promising alternative to T cell therapies in cancer. We evaluated IPH6501, a clinical-stage, tetraspecific NK cell engager (NKCE) armed with a non-alpha IL-2 variant (IL-2v), which targets CD20 and was developed for treating B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL). CD20-NKCE-IL2v boosts NK cell proliferation and cytotoxicity, showing activity against a range of B-NHL cell lines, including those with low CD20 density.

The effect of resveratrol (RESV) on α-lactalbumin (α-LA) thermal stability was evaluated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), circular dichroism (CD) and dynamic light scattering (DLS) measurements. Complementary information offered by molecular docking served to identify the binding site of the ligand on the native structure of protein and the type of interacting forces. DSC thermograms revealed a double-endotherm pattern with partial overlapping of the two components.

Objective: Dysregulated glucagon secretion and inadequate functional beta cell mass are hallmark features of diabetes. While glucagon receptor (GCGR) antagonism ameliorates hyperglycemia and elicits beta cell regeneration in pre-clinical models of diabetes, it also promotes alpha and delta cell hyperplasia. We sought to investigate the mechanism by which loss of glucagon action impacts pancreatic islet non-alpha cells, and the relevance of these observations in a human islet context.

Background: Large Hemispheric Infarction (LHI) is a devastating disease with high mortality. This study aimed to use electroencephalography (EEG) to evaluate the death risk of LHI patients and identify suitable evaluation time.
Methods: This study retrospectively collected clinical and EEG data from 73 LHI patients, dividing them into death and survival group at discharge.
